Our Camper Vans
We currently have four camper vans available to rent out:
Van 1 – ‘Gertie’
Our first camper is a 1973 Volkswagen Bay Window. She has a 1600cc air cooled petrol engine. The Bay Window is the classic image people have of a camper, she’s a beauty. She is quite different to drive from a modern vehicle but with a little practise you will get the hang of her. Fairly slow, especially on the hills, but will cruise on the flat at a cool 50 mph. Like all Bay Windows she doesn’t like going fast.
This camper is fully fitted, including gas hob & grill, sink, cool box, rock & roll bed, pop top roof, storage space and CD player.
Van 2 – ‘Beenie’
Beenie is a 1981 Vw T25 or Type 2 model camper. She has a 1.6ltr aircooled engine. This camper can sleep a maximum of 4 persons, 2 up top, 2 below. Up top would be more suitable for either 1 adult or 2 children. She is fitted with a small gas hob and grille, sink, small fridge, pop up roof and storage space.
Van 3 – ‘Tamar’
Tamar is a 1985 Vw T25 or Type 2 High-top model.She has a 2ltr watercooled engine.This camper can sleep 2 persons.She is fitted with a small gas hob and grille,sink,small fridge,fold down bed and storage space.

All our vans are equipped with the following:
- 240 Volt hook-up
- Coolbox/fridge
- Gas cooker with grill
- Small sink
- First aid kit
- Fire extinguisher
- Pots and pans
- Cooking utensils
- Crockery
- Kettle
- CD player
- Double bed and 2 hammocks in elevating roof free standing drive away awning (sleeps 2)
- Dish cloths & cleaning equipment
Optional Equipment (additional charge).
- Bed linen
- Towels
- Picnic table and chairs
- Cycle rack
Notes:
You will need to provide your own bed linen and towels.
Sleeping bags are more suitable for the hammocks.
As you can see none of our campers are new. They are all between 15 and 35 years old. We are constantly upgrading parts of their interiors where needed every year. All our images show you as much as we can the condition of our campers but please allow for slight wear and tear in places.
