Note: the weekend rate is for the period from 12:30pm on Friday to 10am on Monday.

We try to be flexible with these times, but please ask in advance if you need to pick up or drop off your van at a different time to that stated above.
Collecting the Campers
Our office is based in Lerwick, the main town of Shetland. If you arrive by air you will land at Sumburgh airport, 25 miles south of Lerwick or approxiamately 30 minutes drive. Frequent airport buses run on this route and a taxi rank can be found at the main entrance. If you arrive in Shetland by ferry, you will dock at Holmsgarth Terminal in lerwick, less than a mile or approximately a 5 - 10 minute walk from the Island Campers office. There is also a taxi rank outside the terminal door. The campers and all equipment can be collected from our Lerwick office. If given ample notice, it is possible for us to arrange for you to be collected or dropped off at the airport. Please contact us for more information and for prices.

Prices exclude insurance
When the booking is made within 21 days of the hire date, full payment is required.
For all other bookings a £150 deposit is taken on booking with full payment due 21 days prior to the start of the hire period.
When the cost of hiring the vehicle is less then £150.00, full payment is required when booking.
If customers wish to be colllected from Sumburgh Airport we will try, whenever possible, to arrange a pick-up.
Failure to return the campervans by the perscribed time will result in a charge equal to one days hire.
